The 2026 Lyrid meteor shower peaks on the night of April 21–22, with the best viewing in the pre-dawn hours of April 22. Expect 10–18 meteors per hour, including fast-moving, bright fireballs, under dark skies with minimal moonlight. The shower runs from April 15–29, with meteors radiating from the constellation Lyra.
